Teens! Step into or back to a different ballet world and dance with us!
Teen Ballet Program Enrolments are now open for term three, 2024.
Term three Monday 15 July - 20 September, 2024.
These classes prioritise the development of a solid technical foundation while fostering creativity and artistic expression. Unlike more traditional exam-focused classes, this program aims to nurture each student's growth and passion for ballet.
The classes offer a holistic approach to ballet education, emphasising physical skills, self-expression, confidence, and discipline. Students are encouraged to develop their unique artistic voice while receiving personalised attention from experienced instructors. This approach fosters a love for ballet beyond achieving specific exam grades, empowering students to reach their fullest potential as dancers.
At the Adult Ballet Centre, we celebrate diversity and embrace body positivity. Ballet is for everyone, regardless of body shape, size, or physical abilities. Our classes are inclusive spaces where teens can develop their ballet skills while feeling confident and comfortable in their bodies and developing a sense of community and peer support through dance, regardless of age.
We prioritise healthy and sustainable training practices that focus on strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Our instructors promote positive body image by emphasising each student’s unique qualities and strengths. Ballet is an art form that celebrates grace, strength, and individual expression, and we encourage our students to embrace their natural beauty and appreciate what their bodies can achieve through dedication and practice.
Plus you can wear what you like to our classes, no uniform requirements.
