The Ballet Lounge is best suited to dancers who have established a regular training rhythm and wish to deepen their practice over the year — take the next step.

Please note: The Ballet Lounge is strictly limited to 20 memberships to ensure a high-quality studio experience. For 2026, only four Ballet Lounge memberships remain available.

Reserved for those ready to progress and refine their artistry, this membership unlocks the full scope of ABC’s high-calibre timetable.

With unlimited access to Ballet, Contemporary, Floor Barre, Stretch & Conditioning, and Pointe (subject to readiness assessment), The fifith Hour classes, and optional Male Technique Training classes when avalible The Ballet Lounge offers exceptional value and flexibility. Built on mutual passion and respect, it ensures a high-quality experience for every member and teacher.

Welcome to The Ballet Lounge — Adult Ballet Centre’s most prestigious membership, designed for dancers dedicated to their training, artistry, and growth.

Membership Details

  • Monthly Fee: $497.00/month (including all goverment 10% GST)

  • Minimum Term: 3 months

  • Billing: Monthly, on a recurring basis.

Membership Inclusions 2026

Your Ballet Lounge membership includes unlimited timetable access to:

  • Ballet (all levels appropriate for the individual, excluding Introduction to Classical Ballet unless approved)

  • Contemporary Dance

  • Friday Ballet Extension and Repertoire Class ( levels 4 + to 6 only)

  • The Fifth Hour classes 2026

  • Floor Barre/ Stretch & Conditioning

  • Pointe and Pre-Pointe (subject to readiness assessment by the Adult Ballet Centre team)

  • Holiday timetable classes (limited schedule, subject to change and availability)

  • Selected internal workshops such as Pirouette Workshop and Extension Classes

  • Official ABC “The Ballet Lounge” branded T-shirt

  • VIP Ballet Lounge Class /Event September

  • Male Technique Training class ( Optional when avalible)

  • Members enjoy priority/booking access for AICD and showcase seasons and external workshop (booked separately)

  • Personalised check in for progression twice per year ( March and September, 1:1 bookings are released three week prior)

Exclusions

The Ballet Lounge membership does not include:

  • Australian Institute of Classical Dance (AICD) Adult Ballet Assessment Program classes

  • Theatre, production, or rehearsal classes and associated costs

  • Special events, intensives (winter/summer), or specialty courses

  • External guest artists’ workshops or events

  • Introduction to Classical Ballet classes (for absolute beginners unless you are currently in L1 or transitioning to L2 classes)

  • Private Coaching

Booking Behaviour & Integrity

The Ballet Lounge is designed for dedicated dancers who value consistency and fairness, we only offer a limited membership capacity.

Members are expected to attend regularly and manage bookings respectfully through clubworx, or seek help when needed.
Holding multiple spots, cancelling repeatedly, or maintaining low attendance may result in booking restrictions or a recommendation and agreement to move to a class pass membership.

This membership is not intended for short-term intensive use with low engagement.
ABC reserves the right to pause or review membership access if usage does not align with the spirit of The Ballet Lounge.

Cancellation Policy

  • A minimum four-month commitment is required this is a view to a long term commitment to your ballet and progression

  • Cancelling within the first three months incurs a $170 cancellation fee.

  • After the initial term, memberships may be cancelled at any time through your account page, stopping automatic renewal.

  • Any classes booked beyond your termination date will be automatically cancelled.

  • Yearly memberships cannot be reactivated until a three-month non-membership period has passed.

Booking & Class Cancellation

  • All classes must be cancelled at least 8 hours in advance via the booking system (consistent with all other ABC class pass terms).

  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your eligibility to remain on The Ballet Lounge membership.

  • Unlimited members are expected to only book classes they intend to attend, ensuring fairness and maintaining a healthy waitlist flow.

  • Repeated missed classes or late cancellations may result in a membership review.

Refund & Payment Policy

  • Membership payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Missed classes cannot be credited or carried over.

  • Pricing is reviewed annually, with any updates effective January each year.

Suspension / Freeze Policy

  • Members may request one suspension of up to 2 weeks per calendar year (1 January – 31 December).

  • Eligibility: members must have held The Ballet Lounge membership for at least 4 consecutive months.

  • Suspensions must be requested in writing; they are not applied automatically.

  • An administration fee will apply to any requested changes to memberships or class packages that require staff time for processing or additional communication.

Membership Integrity Statement

The Ballet Lounge is built on mutual trust, respect, and commitment. It exists to support dancers who are actively training and contributing to our vibrant community.

Members are asked to uphold the values of consistency, responsibility, and fairness, ensuring that the experience remains sustainable and inspiring for everyone.

Adult Ballet Centre reserves the right to review, pause, or recommend alternative memberships if ongoing patterns of late cancellations, no-shows, or low attendance occur. Communication and guidance are always available as part of our ongoing commitment to you.
