Adult Ballet Centre is delighted to welcome Marcus Morelli, Principal Artist with The Australian Ballet, for an exclusive day of masterclasses designed for adult ballet dancers and advanced students.
This special event offers a rare opportunity to learn from one of Australia’s leading classical ballet artists through inspiring and educational classes tailored to a range of experience levels.
Throughout the day, participants will experience Marcus’s approach to classical technique, artistry, musicality, and performance while gaining insight from his professional career with The Australian Ballet.
Masterclass Registration & Enrolment
For adult dancers building confidence, coordination, and technical understanding
This class is designed for adult dancers working within Levels 2–3 who are ready to deepen their understanding of classical ballet in a supportive and inspiring masterclass setting.
It is ideal for dancers who are comfortable with the structure of a full ballet class, understand basic terminology, and are developing greater confidence at the barre and in the centre.
Participants will experience Marcus Morelli’s approach to classical technique, musicality, and artistry in a way that is accessible, educational, and encouraging for dancers at this stage of training.
This class is suited to:
adult dancers currently training in Levels 2–3
returning dancers rebuilding confidence and fluency
dancers ready for greater refinement within a supportive environment
When: Sunday 25 October 2026
Time: Registration on the Day 9am - Warm-up and class from 10am ( 2 hours)
Where: Adult Ballet Centre, Arnold Street Studio, Factory 6, 3–5 Arnold Street, Cheltenham
Cost: A$65.00 per class (+GST)
For adult dancers refining technique, stamina, and artistic confidence
This class is designed for adult dancers training within Levels 4–5 who are ready to work with greater technical detail, dynamic control, and artistic depth.
It is ideal for dancers who are confident in a full classical ballet class and are developing stronger pirouettes, allegro, adage, and musical responsiveness.
Participants will gain insight into Marcus Morelli’s professional approach to technique and performance while working in a more demanding and richly layered class environment.
This class is suited to:
adult dancers currently training in Levels 4–5
experienced dancers returning to more complex classical work
dancers seeking greater refinement, challenge, and artistic development

Time: Registration on the Day 12.15pm - Warm-up and class from 12.45pm ( 2 hours)

For experienced adult dancers and advanced students seeking high-level artistic and technical challenge
This class is designed for experienced adult dancers and advanced students who are ready to engage with complex classical vocabulary, advanced combinations, and a more demanding artistic environment.
It is best suited to dancers with a strong technical foundation, established training consistency, and confidence across barre, centre practice, turns, adage, and allegro.
Participants will experience a rare opportunity to work closely with Marcus Morelli at a high level, gaining insight into musicality, performance quality, and the refinement required in advanced classical ballet training.
This class is suited to:
advanced adult dancers with substantial ballet training
experienced ABC dancers progressing through higher levels
advanced students seeking professional insight and artistic challenge
Warm up (30 mins), ballet/rep class (120 mins)
