If you are booking with ABC for the first time, the best first step is to identify the class level most suited to your current experience.
Our Find Your Level page will help guide you through the ABC training pathways, including Steady Level 1 &2, Strength Levels 3 & 4 and Soar Levels 5 & 6, so you can begin with clarity and confidence.
If you are ready to experience the studio, eligible new students are welcome to begin with a Complimentary Trial Class within selected classes.

The current Adult Ballet Centre class schedule is available on our Timetable & Book page. Classes run across selected weekdays, evenings and Saturdays at our Arnold Street Studios in Cheltenham, Melbourne. The timetable includes adult ballet classes for complete beginners, returning dancers and experienced adult dancers across the Steady, Strength and Soar training pathway.

No. If you are new to Adult Ballet Centre or unsure where to begin, we recommend starting with a complimentary trial class. Yes. Adult Ballet Centre offers beginner adult ballet classes in Melbourne for adults with no prior ballet experience. Our Steady pathway includes Introduction to Classical Ballet and Foundation Ballet classes designed specifically for adult learners.

Adult Ballet Centre, MelbourneAdult Ballet Centre is delighted to welcome Marcus Morelli, Principal Artist with The Australian Ballet, for an exclusive day of masterclasses designed specifically for adult ballet dancers and advanced students.
This special event offers a rare opportunity to learn from one of Australia's leading classical ballet artists through a series of inspiring and educational classes tailored to a range of experience levels.
Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to experience Marcus's approach to classical technique, artistry, musicality and performance while gaining valuable insights from his professional career with The Australian Ballet.
Masterclasses will be offered across Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels, ensuring dancers can participate in a class appropriate to their training and experience.
The day will also include dedicated Q&A sessions and group photographs, providing dancers with the opportunity to connect with Marcus and learn more about his journey through the professional ballet world.

Repertoire/Choreography Series x 5 weeks of special class rehearsals for the December In Studio performance commences on the week of Monday 9 November.

Instudio Performance Saturday 12 December starting at 3pm followed by the Community Laneway Christmas Party starting at 4.30pm to 6pm.
Classes continue all through December until Wednesday 23 December, Christmas pause - Thursday 24 Dec until Saturday 27 December Classes resume Monday 28 and Tuesday 29 December.

January Classes continue with the regular timetable from Saturday 2 onwards.
Pirouette Workshop all welcome this highly popular intensive workshop will run for three weeks every Thursday 7, 14 and 21 of January at 8pm, two teaching in the room, coaching and training for the perfect pirouette!
Bookings for this series are open, and do fill quickly.
Recommended Level 2 and above.

Item description
The Adult Ballet Centre is open most days of the year with a small break over the christmas and new year period. Often running classes on public holidays and no term breaks. You can join us at anytime of the year, as we offer entry levels and return to dance levels for all abilities.
