Workshops & Special Events

Enrich Your Training Through Special Events at ABC

Adult Ballet Centre offers a range of workshops and special events designed to deepen knowledge, connect with community, expand artistic experience, and enrich the adult dancer’s journey.

From technique intensives and guest masterclasses to seasonal studio events and special artistic opportunities, these experiences are created to support adult dancers with clarity, inspiration, and meaningful progression.

At ABC, workshops and special and community events are not separate from training. They are part of the broader culture of learning, development, community connection and artistic engagement that supports adult dancers at every stage, these events are open to all adult ballet dancers across Australia and Internationally.

November Five-Week Repertoire Series Workshop

Our November Five-Week Repertoire Series Workshop offers adult dancers the opportunity to explore ballet repertoire in greater depth across a dedicated multi-week training block.

Designed to support musicality, stylistic understanding, artistry, and performance confidence, this series allows dancers to engage more deeply with classical vocabulary and expressive interpretation within a structured and supportive environment.

Across the five weeks, dancers refine choreography progressively, building familiarity, confidence, and performance quality over time. This format creates a rewarding bridge between weekly training and more focused artistic development.

December In-Studio Performance

Our December In-Studio Performance offers adult dancers the opportunity to share their training and artistry in a more intimate and supportive studio setting.

This end-of-year performance experience allows dancers to present classwork, choreographed pieces, repertoire, or selected creative outcomes within the Adult Ballet Centre environment. It is a meaningful opportunity to build confidence, develop performance presence, and celebrate the progress made across the year.

The in-studio setting creates a calm and encouraging atmosphere, making it an especially valuable experience for dancers who wish to perform in a more immediate and connected environment.

Laneway Christmas Party-Community Event

Laneway Christmas Party

Our annual Laneway Christmas Party is a special end-of-year celebration that brings together the Adult Ballet Centre community in a warm, festive, and relaxed setting.

It is an opportunity for dancers, teachers, and the wider ABC community to celebrate the year’s training, performances, progress, and shared memories together.

More than a social gathering, it reflects the spirit of Adult Ballet Centre, where community and supporters are all valued as part of the adult dance journey.
